That's the phrase I would use to describe removing the exhaust manifold off the Desoto. It's held on by 7 bolts, 3 in the front, 4 in the rear. They must have magic tools that they use to get to these bolts. Each one was a puzzle in extensions, position, and patience. I thought this would be a 1 night project. Silly me.
I quickly learned the cooling system runs through it...

I also got to clean up this little non-operating heat-activated butterfly doo dad.
Next up, wire wheel the new manifold, paint it, clean up the engine area.
