Glue some pvc pipe together, bada-bing, and you're done. Right? Except that 18" trench I needed to dig that took me 6 hours over 3 weekends. And having to make a trip to the hardware store countless times because you're one elbow or T or SOMETHING short. Overall, after the ditch, it went pretty smoothly. We ripped off some of the old galvanized and patched in the pvc and out the side of the house, down the trench, and to the back corner where we put in the new spigot and plumbed the drip irrigation valves.
