Anyway, I can't get my Triumph's barrels bored until I get new pistons, shells, and rings ($?), so I'm on hold on that. I can't get my crank ground until I get my barrels bored, so again, on hold. Both of those will be $300 combined. I spent a great deal of time this weekend going through every part and seeing what needs replaced. I saw a lot dollar signs in front of me. There's a couple big ticket items that need replaced, like the quadrant in my gearbox... that's a $75 part new. I may just try to pick up a spare gearbox and scavenge it for parts. I can't believe how trashed my cases were, so hopefully Pops can fix those.

Being 35 means that now you have some justification for having too many motorcycles.
Buck up son. I got nearly 10 years on you and I'm still kicking. Once you become a Dad lots of things that used to weigh you down become totally insignificant... in a good way. I'll dig through the parts cache and see if I have anything to contribute. Happy Birthday.
Yeah... I had a bit of a crisis turning 35. I'll be 36 in a week. I'm happily married, so it's not like I'm looking, but there's just something sad about going from, "Ooh... he's older," to, "Ew, he's older."
