Univega Gran Rally

I found this Uni on the side of the road in a FREE pile. It's 80's semi-pro model, bone stock except the seat. All the Shimano 600 components are on there and rides great, just needs cleaned up. I talked to the fella and he said it's a great bike he just couldn't ride it anymore. I'm not a huge road bike guy; I might sell it, or maybe I'll put some different bars on and turn it into an urban cruiser of some sort.

Family Fun Time

I had just an overall great weekend with the family. Hiking at Sibley Volcanic Park in the Oakland Hills, backyard camping, and a dreary beach day at Hearts Desire beach at Tomales Bay.








I even got a ride in.

New Scores!

Scouring Craigslist has paid off recently. I scored these '69 Triumph wheels, brand new Duro tire and tube all for $65. The Duro is exactly the tire I was going to get for the 750, and that alone is $75. The wheels are inspiring me to change things up a little on the Trump during its soon rebirth.



The other score is this 1970 Yamaha DS6 I picked up for $200. I really have a thing for these early 2-strokes. I'd like to modify the headers and create a custom high pipe scrambler. They made them but the street versions are already rare, the scrambler are hen's teeth.
